Along with regular oil changes, TCM Werkshop highly recommends servicing the transmission every 30,000 miles. Transmission oil that is contaminated with particulate matter can cause slipping, overheating, and can ultimately cause the transmission to fail prematurely. When a transmission service is performed, we drain the fluid, replace the filter, pan gasket, and any relevant parts connected to the system. We refill the transmission with the appropriate Mercedes-Benz approved oil and ensure the correct fluid amount is maintained.
